Austin Fish House in Coquitlam

Great place to eat fish n chips. Friendly lady was very patience and attentive. Fish n chips was very crispy and the tartar sauce was also perfect for me. One thing to remember is the clam chowder and chicken can't order after 7pm.

Incredible! The fish is better than C-Lovers and Pajo’s by far. The chicken takes a little longer but is well worth the wait as it’s fried to order. Pro tip - try the fried mushrooms while you wait for the chicken - your taste buds will thank you! I don’t even like coleslaw, but theirs is light and refreshing and perfectly complements the fried feast described above. All this tied together with amazing service means it is undeniably my new go-to for fried comfort food!

Didn’t like the poutine. Fries were drowned in too much gravy. No cheese curds but instead there was melted mozzarella and cheddar - I was disappointed. Fries are not thoroughly cooked, and they are drenched in gravy, making this dish overall inedible. Tried Cod and chips before and fish was a little rubbery. Fries were nt good that time either. I think the quality can seriously improve and the restaurant should have a more authentic fish and chips menu. I will not be coming back. 1 star. Disappointed about quality and not living up to the name Fish and Chips

Super impressed! Food is great, the fries are good. The deep fryer oil needs to be changed. That's why the fries are dark.other wise it's all good. I will be back

I think I found my new favorite fish and chips joint! I used to be in love with cockney kings but I heard that Austin Fish & Chips are less greasy and have better quality. When we arrived, the staff were so nice! They had other food like burgers, chicken, and wings too.The price was higher but that was because the portions are HUGE! the size of the fish was 3 times bigger than cockneys, and were double fried. We were gonna try the AYCE, but the huge portions were already enough. They even let us try it first. EXCELLENT customer service. The staff kept on coming by to ask how we were doing. Turns out it was a Ma and Pops store. They opened it for around 30 years I think? Hands down, this is the only Fish & Chips place I will go for Fish and Chips now. You must come!

Covid-19 measures in place for a very delicious fish and chips dinner. Pieces were huge, perfectly battered and very fresh. I will definitely be a regular now.

Freakin awesome! Haven't been here for years ... kinda forgot about it. Sure am glad we came back. Halibut all you can eat the batter is so light and crunchy the fish wonderfully flakey. Come in and ask the waitress her secret... you wont regret it!

We along with friends and family have been going to Austin Fish and Chips for years. We consider it the best place for fish and chips in British Colombia. We especially love the batter so crispy and fries are cooked to a lovely golden brown. (No wimpy non tasteless white so called FRIES here!!!!)We are waiting for them to be opened today to see if they have take out, like they usually do, except with Covid 10 we will see what they have arranged for the social distancing.

I have have been living in the area a few years and just went here today. Wow :) . I ordered the bacon mushroom burger. So happy with the burger 🍔 I ordered. I opened the package and could not believe how nice it was put together. Normally I expect a bit of a mess. I enjoyed eating something so well constructed. I'm a burger guy and this place is amazing for the price. What a deal. This burger just made my day better after a long shift at work. Eat here and be happy 😊

This place is awesome! The fish is fresh and super tasty.. the fries are also delicious. You will like this place.. I will be back
